Ravanelli's Golden Hand Shake

Reports suggest that Fabrizio Ravanelli will have his current contract partly paid up to ease financial problems at Derby.

Derby County have been in talks with there money men to arrange a deal to give a sort of golden hand shake to Fabrizio Ravenelli , the Italian is out of action for about four months and with his current contract running out at the end of the season , Derby wish to strike a deal to get him off the books earlier.

Reports from the Guardian newspaper in which John Gregory said "The bank has to consider, if he does not come back until April, whether it is good financial sense to keep paying his wages."

It probably looks like Ravanelli's playing days are coming to end in the English Football , he has enjoyed spells at Middlesborough and at Derby in there time in the top flight but the striker may now move back to Italy and finish playing there.
