Derby give Spaniard trial

Derby County have given Spaniard striker Marcos Sequeiros a chance to impress with trial.

The 28-year-old was released by Las Palmas and is expected to stay at Pride Park until the season starts in attempt to impress manager John Gregory.

If Sequeiros does impress he will still have to wait for a current Derby player to be sold before any contract can be offered.

Sequerios was recommended to The Rams by ex-Spurs and Everton defender Vinny Samways, the two were team mates at Las Palmas.
