Wise's agent issues legal threat

The agent of Dennis Wise has threatened legal action against Leicester City if his clinet's contract is terminated by the club.

Dennis Wise's future with Leicester is in huge doubt after an incident on the pre-season tour of Finland which left Callum Davidson nursing a double fracture of the cheekbone. Wise was sent home from the tour in disgrace and left a huge question mark over his head.

Prior to the tour Wise was told he would listed as a free transfer along with fellow high earners at the club as The Foxes attempt to reduce their wage bill.

Now Wise's agent, Eric Hall, has warned that he will take legal action if the club terminate Wise's contract. "We will take legal advice if Leicester cancel Dennis' contract.

"We will take it to the Football Association, or Football League and the Professional Footballers' Association.

"And if necessary, we will pursue the matter as far as we can through every civil court that is available to us."

However Hall remains confident that it won't come to that. "I don't expect Leicester to cancel Dennis' contract.

"Dennis loves it at the club and loves playing for them."

A statement from Leicester is expected on Friday regarding the action to be take against Wise.
