The agent of Benito Carbone has given hope to the cash-stricken club.

Early in the week Bradford boss Nicky Law stated that if Carbone saw out his contract with The Bantams they would go out of business.

Carbone's agent, Gianni Paladini, has now given hope to Bradford though by telling BBC Radio Five that Carbone doesn't want to put Bradford out of business and that he has found a new club in Italy. "I don't think Benny wants to see Bradford go bankrupt.

"It was a mistake on the part of Bradford to give him that money in the first place.

"Tell Bradford not to worry. We hope they get up in the Premier Division - but next time they should be more careful."
