McAllister lines up Hedman replacement

Coventry boss Gary McAllister has lined up Bolton keeper Steve Banks as a replacement for the departed Magnus Hedman.

With Hedman leaving for Celtic, The Sky Blues are in need of another keeper and Banks heads McAllister's list.

Banks is on trial at Highfield Road with a view to a permanent move before the season starts.

McAllister revealed his intentions to the clubs website. "With Magnus leaving, we knew it was imperative to find another keeper.

"Steve is an experience professional and he's down here so we can take a good look at him.

"He'll be here for as long as it takes."
