Magpies trail Berenlul as striker search continues

Newcastle United are reported to be trailing Dutch teenager Pieter Berenlul. The 193cm tall striker has been another Dutch prospect who came through the ranks of First Division outfit Telstar/Stormvolgels.

My sources tell me that Berenlul is more than willing to come to Newcastle. He always admired the Geordie fans. Berenlul is also big pals with Tim Krul. I happen to know that Berenlul would relish to play in black and white.

I will dismiss reports that we're signing Charlton Athletic striker Darren Bent. The reports are wide of the mark of course.
