Manchester City offered Marseille striker

According to the French Media, Marseille are about to offer out of favour striker Lamine Sakho to Manchester City, they are speculating as to who will replace the soon to be departing Anelka and suggest the Senegalese as a likely replacement.

He has actually played in England before, on loan to Leeds, but failed to make any real impact, so this may have an influence in City turning down Marseille’s offer.
