Manchester City forward Nicolas Anelka is today being touted with a shock move to Turkey and Fenerbahce. The French press are sure the striker will be tempted by a huge pay check (believed to be about 3.5 million a year) to make and unlikely move to Turkey.

City have already hinted that they will sell Anelka if they received a bid that matched their estimation of the player and Fenerbahce are reportedly ready to offer seven million pounds to lure the striker away from Manchester.

City still owe money to PSG (about 5 million) and are looking to stave off mounting debts so the move could be attractive to all concerned parties.
