Shevchenko to miss AC Milan V Chelsea

AC Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko will miss the clubs tour of the USA, following surgery to fix a previously operated on broken jaw. Milan stated yesterday that he would miss the friendlies against Chelsea and Chicago Fire.

Milan will not be short of striker power though with the newly arrived Christian Vieri, expected to lead the line, when they meat Chelsea on July 24 in Foxboro, Massachusetts, and again on July 31 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
