Striker not concerned by slow start as he heads back to Baggies. Chris Wood insists there’s no cause for concern as the Clarets prepare to get back to business in the Premier League.

Burnley resume after the international break at West Bromwich Albion next Monday evening with no points yet on the board.

But with just three league games played following a delayed start to the season – as well as a lengthy roll call of injured players to contend with – Wood is confident Sean Dyche’s men will come good and start to climb the table.

“It’s only three games in. We’ve got 35 more so we’re not too worried at the moment,” said the Clarets’ striker.

“We’ve just got to keep focused, keep working on where we’re going, get back to what we’re doing and I’m sure we’ll come through.
