Arsenal line up for City - preview

Last season this was Arsenal's last away game before the stupendous finale against Wigan. Arsenal won the game three-one with goals by Freddie, and a brilliant brace by want away Reyes. Manchester City managed one goal in reply, but they were never really in the game.

So far they have failed to score this season. They have never managed more than one goal against Arsenal, and one of those was by the incredible sulk.

City have not beaten Arsenal in 19 games, and will be fighting for their first Premiership win in six games. And although Lauren will not be there to give City a goal start, the Gunners need to beware of wounded animal syndrome, that City will be desperate for some kind of victory. Fortunately for Arsenal Thatcher will not be there to help the light blue cause. Meanwhile Henry is working on getting fit for October, which will be nice, Lehmann has recovered from his injury, as has Rosicky.

The probable line-up for the game, which is on pay-per-view is:

Lehmann, Hoyte, Djourou, Toure, Eboue, Gilberto, Fabregas, Rosicky, Hleb, van Persie, and Henry.

Substitutes will be from Almunnia, Cygan, Flamini, Walcott Adebayor, and Aliadiere.
