Radio 5 Dead or Liverpool Radio?

The Arsenal Times report on the Gunners stunning 6-3 victory over Liverpool led with the fact that Mark Lawrenson had called Baptista the Nanny before the game (I do hope Hansen was watching).
However long time Gooner HC was extremely irritated by the old school boy antics of the so-called Radio 5 Live (Dead more like) and suggests it should be called Radio Liverpool. His article follows: It was easy to believe that Radio 5 had become Liverpool Radio last night as Lawrenson, and Liverpool fan Alan Green, sniggered before the game about the Arsenal team wanting to know where the Calpol was. Baptista was fat and he was a Nanny. It was like listening to an old school European commentary - the English team against the fancy dan foreigners. Let's laugh at them until they stuff us.
As the goals went in Green and Lawrenson's sighs got louder - the silences between commentary berating Liverpool's goalkeeper and defence longer. They sounded thoroughly miserable watching a game with 9 goals in it - isn't that what an objective radio station would want - an exciting match? Green and Lawro sounded like they were commentating at a funeral. (It was for them. Ed)
All the goals were Liverpool's fault. Any pass by their beloved Gerrard (who played 90 mins!) was 'glorious'. No praise was given to Arsenal until Green went off air. He was missing from the start of 606; maybe somebody had a word with him about his atrociously myopic and biased commentary - belatedly he talked about how good Arsenal were
The anchor - Saggers was it - was no better - apparently 'we' would all want to ring in and talk about Liverpool. The coverage was laughable. I had absolutely no idea at the end of the game how Arsenal had played. My 20 year old daughter who has a passing interest in football was beside herself listening to this balls
And what did Green talk about at the final whistle - how brilliant the Liverpool fans were for singing You'll Never Walk Alone. Sure, it was pretty impressive that the Liverpool fans could still sing after watching a team with six players with CL experience getting stuffed against a team with six teenagers.
