How Harry Kane can continue to haunt Arsenal

Every story has a good guy and a bad guy. In fact, the good guy quite often needs the bad guy. Without The Joker, Batman is just an angry billionaire. Without Darth Vader, Luke is just a farmer. Without Voldemort, Harry is just a nerd with trauma and a stick.
The best villains, however, are those who manage to win in the very end, even after being vanquished. Think Kevin Spacey in Se7en. Physically he is gone, but from beyond the grave he will continue to haunt the heroes. That, to me, is always the mark of a great bad guy.
Nobody in Premier League history has scored more goals against Arsenal than Harry Kane. He is certainly the baddie in our story and though he might be 700 miles away these days, don't be surprised if he continues to wreak havoc for Arsenal.
Becoming Kane is an English kid's dream but an ambitious footballer's nightmare. That's because despite being one of modern era's greatest goalscorers, he has failed to win a single thing in professional football.
Arsenal fans can laugh at this fact, because admittedly it is hilarious, but it won't be a laughing matter if we fail to win the Premier League again this season and wonder if our best players - particularly somebody like Bukayo Saka - is contemplating his own future, based on wanting to avoid beating a dead horse like Kane did for so long.
From amateur to professional, every footballer would love Kane's talent but no player wants to be the guy who wasted precious years of their career winning significantly less than their ability demanded. Footballers are glued to social media in this day and age and if I have seen the glut of jokes and memes about Kane's inability to win a trophy, so will they.
Saka, for instance, has shared the same heartbreak as Kane in terms of nearly winning international honours and although he will still only be 23 come next summer, don't be shocked if he considers his future in the event that Arsenal fail to win the title or Champions League this season.
You might ask why on Earth he would leave Arsenal. Kane's loyalty to Tottenham for so many years has proven that there is nothing much to gain in choosing your heart over your head if it leads nowhere.
Despite being a world-class goalscorer, he is also a meme, a punchline and most worrying of all, a cautionary tale. Where has his allegiance to Spurs gotten him? Even his legacy there is somewhat tarnished because he threw in the towel.
And if Mikel Arteta doesn't get Arsenal over the line this year, in the Premier League or Champions League, then Saka - and most likely a few others - may well ponder if they should put head before heart and try to leave.
Don't think that because Saka is only 23 that he'd be automatically willing to commit more years to the cause. He has played 177 senior games for Arsenal and 42 for England. This is his sixth season as a first-team regular and though he is a million miles from veteran status, he is by no means a youngster in terms of experience, either.
This is a player ready to win major honours. Only last week he said: "I think we've been close the last two years and we're getting closer, but this hopefully will be the year. Previous years, I've come runners-up a lot. It's just that spirit in me that I want to win this season and of course, I believe in myself a lot."
He will no doubt want to win a major title with Arsenal more than anything, but this is a tough young man who has already been through a lot in football and though success with his boyhood club would be ideal, success, in general, will be his priority.
In a slight change of tone, consider the psychology behind a bucket list.

Is it about the experience of skydiving or is it about avoiding the feeling of regret over not doing it? Regret is a deep and powerful emotion. People don't play the same lottery numbers twice a week because they think that they're going to win; they do it incase those numbers do roll out and they can't stand the thought of having not picked them.
There's no doubt that Kane regrets having spent so much time at Spurs, but even if he never scores another goal against Arsenal, he can haunt this club in a more spectral, indirect way if our players learn from his mistakes and cash in their loyalty for the pursuit of winner's medals elsewhere.

It means he has more time to focus on (a) family and friends (b) running his company (which includes but is not limited to the essential task of opposing Lexcorp's global operations) (c) social work + community projects (d) a love life.

Lex Corp and Wayne Enterprises. These two are rival multinationals.
Lexcorp is constantly disrupting Gotham. And Wayne Corp is constantly pushing back against and pushing Lex Corp out of Gotham. (It's both Business and Personal from Lex).
Both companies are at the cutting edge of Research and Development, including but not limited to military technology. One of the things which is made clear as daylight in the comics is Bruce Wayne is needed for peace negotiations between countries being manipulated by Lexcorp selling both sides weapons.
If you are especially familiar with the many times Lexcorp has attempted hostile takeovers of Wayne Industries and tried to kill and frame Batman and kill and frame Bruce Wayne and all the collateral damage to the people of Gotham + the world caught up in Lex's schemes you will know why it is an absolutely essential task for Bruce Wayne to be present + accounted for + highly active in the fight against Lexcorp.

I'm not familiar with comics really Area because I'm 53 😀
I thought the came from different companies, DC and Marvel for instance. Obviously that's not the case 😀

There are a lot of places Batman checks in on and keeps an eye on. One such place is a place supported publicly by Bruce and privately by Batman. In every incarnation of the character (and in every universe and timeline his identity is known to ...)
There are regular instances where frenemies, friendlies and non-friendlies are in the same story in the same city at the same time and location as Batman.
At these times especially there is no distinction between Batman and Bruce.

Irrespective of whether we win the premier league or not. Saka moves on in 3 years Max. 1) he will want the Real Madrid/PSG level big bucks, wouldn't mind ronaldo/mbappe/Haaland type salary 2) He will want to win CL. No chance in hell we win they in the next 3 years. 3) If we actually win both, he will feel good jobs here is done.
There is no version of this where Saliba, Saka, Odegaard, Gabriel stay at this club longer than 3-4 years or so from today.
We can keep the rest on current form although if Martinelli ever starts playing with his head up, he will have a lot of takers.
