Chelsea's performance last night was symbolic of team spirit, collectiveness and togetherness. Everybody from Hilario in goal to the sensational Drogba were focused and 'up for it' and under the trying circumstances of the last few days, they were ALL 'up for it' even more.

Shevchenko may have his critics at the moment for not scoring goals, but when you have Dids knocking them in, do we really care?

Drogba scored another sensational goal two minutes into the second-half and if you thought the goal that Dids scored against Liverpool a few weeks back was great, his goal last night was much better.

Receiving a cross from Ashley Cole from Chelsea's left, Dids controlled the ball with his right, flicked it onto his left and then from his own 'pass' rifled a right-footed shot passed the desparing dive of Valdez.

The Shev is not getting the luck at the moment. The ball is not running for him and his only chance last night was wasted with a high shot over the bar and didn't he know it? He must have spent a minute holding his head in his hands in sheer disbelief. However you cannot fault his work rate and his presence in the team surely lifts everybody else, including the re-galvanised Didier Drogba.
