It was only just over four weeks ago that a full 1st team strength of Spurs ''reserves' tonked us at Brisbane Road 4-0, and just looking at Spurs squad for tonight's Reserve encounter at Griffin Park, their squad is as youthful as ours. With the Champions League encounter against Barcelona upcoming, Chelsea name Ricardo Quaresma as the only player with any 1st team experience.
The reserves have lost four and drawn two of their last six games since their 6-0 battering of Portsmouth way back in February. Tonight's game is the reserves last league game of the season, but in May there will be return home and away friendlies against Man Citeh.

Fair play to Quaresma - dumped by Jose and it appears discarded by HUSS - he has given the young ones all the support and high fived some of them and has been involved in all three goals.
Tonight he has proved a point a deserves a place in the 1st team squad.

I say again, th fact they we are keeping Quaresma fit must be a sign that we intend to use him.

Thats it for the reserve season. Chelsea's league season is over and Chelsea cannot finish bottom of the Reserve League.
After four defeats and 2 draws in the last six games (including a 4-0 tonking against Tottingham a few weeks) ago, the boys did well.

- all we need is for Chelsea TV to provided live coverage of the Academy and the site will have the full service.

Not just the result but the performance itself. Overall it was a good game and Quaresma was top quality.
Stoch and Mancienne have made their entrances in the first team - they are both in Catalan country tonight. I can see the likes of Mellis, van Aanholt, Hutchinson, Bruma breaking through and perhaps even Jan Sebek. He is as tall as Cech LOL
I am of the opinion that Mr A has spent all this money on the Academy its time to see his investment come to fruition.

Good performance by the lads and Quaresma`s attitude was top class as well as his performance.I hope we keep him.
