Sunderland Preview: Give Gokhan Tore A Squad Number
COME ON CHELSEA

If you were lucky enough to watch The Academy's wonderful 4-0 win at the City Ground against Forest on Tuesday night in the 4th Rd of the FA Youth Cup, you would have noticed another Chelsea star in the making. 17yr old Gokhan Tore. He rinsed their defence left, right & centre all night as The Academy trounced Forest into a Stamford Bridge 5th Round tie against Portsmouth later on this month.
Over the last few months Tore has been used few and far between in the Academy and Reserve teams, but has represented Turkey at U21 level at his young age and there is no reason why after his outstanding recent performance why 'Anco' cannot give him a squad number NOW with our absentees at the ACN.

It has been surreal the last couple of weeks. Snow, snow, snow, cold weather and Chelsea didn't play last weekend, whereas the URE and GOONERVILLE did and between them dropped points to sort of cement our position at the top of the Premiership.
For that to happen we HAVE to beat Sunderland, the same way as we did in our first away game of the season and wouldn't it be nice if the URE and GOONERVILLE dropped more points between them along the way!!!!
Because of the ACN we are without Essien, Mikel, Dids and Kalou and 'Anco' has reported that despite Deco returning to training he is not ready to play.
'Anco' has to decide whether to start with either Alex or Ricky in defence and Danny Sturridge in attack or on the subs bench.
Sunderland will be without Cattermole, Richardson, Ferdinand, Reid, Gordon, Nosworthy and ex-Chelsea player Bolo Zenden is included in a depleted Sunderland squad.

- and why not indeed? I reckon you could be on to something - he certainly looks as if he wouldn´t shirk from extra responsibility.
I would like to see Kakuta included more regulary...and no doubt Sturridge will get his chance of a mini-run during these games.
I´ve got a good feeling about this game. We need a decent performance to confirm that we are turning the corner - this could be a period when the league is decided...
