Ricardo 'Rickity' Carvalho is the latest 'Double' Winner to say farewell to the portals of Stamford Bridge and Cobham as Chelsea and Real Madrid have agree terms for his signature. Widely reported Ricky saying 'I would swim to Spain to play for Real Madrid,' Ricky is re-united with his title winning gaffer (at Porto and Chelsea) Jose Mourinho.

The transfer is subject to a medical and the player agreeing personal terms.

As Ancelotti and before him Hiddink, have proved, Jose isn't the only manager that can win you trophies, barring injuries of course and Ricky has had his fair share but still Ricky managed to win three titles, two FA Cups and two Carling Cup medals.

All in all Ricky played 203 times plus 7 substitute appearances for Chelsea scoring 11 times.

One of his goals, especially memorable, came in Chelsea's 2nd title winning acheivement against Man Utd in the 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge.

Thank you Ricky for all that you have done and we wish you well in the White of Real and the cauldron of the Bernabeau.
