Just as the skullbreaker Stephen Hunt was warming up and receiving his normal Stamford Bridge welcome, Anelka skipped down the left played in Zhirkov, who in turn fed Malouda to stroke the ball into the net, to give Chelsea a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute.
Second-half substitute Salomon Kalou wrapped up the points with nine minutes to go after latching onto an Essien pass to fire pass Hahnemann on the diagonal.
Chelsea didn't play well, because Wolves didn't let us. Essien, the heart of our midfield, had a poor game and Didier was well off the pace, firing shots high, wide and handsome and after being clear with only Hahnemann to beat, he allowed the keeper to scramble the ball away.
Wolves created chances of their own, notably the skull-breaker had a header cleared off the line by Essien. Cech saved well from Doyle. Doyle had a free header from a corner which fortunately was directed straight into Cech's chest.
It certainly wasn't a comfortable game for the faithful to enjoy finally relaxing when Kalou scored Chelsea's 2nd.
The shining light on the afternoon was the return of Jose Bosingwa for his first start in 13 months. When substituted with 12 minutes to go, he was giving a standing ovation.
Bosingwa had a couple of chances giving Hanhemann a couple of nervous moments, one being a tip around the far post.
The Boss 'Anco' said of Bosingwa's return, "Bosingwa was one of the best players on the pitch.
"He put alot of pressure on in the second-half by pushing up without the ball and he had opportunities to score.
"For 70 minutes he played very well and he is an important player for us in the future."
"He took the right time for recovery, he was comfortable to play and he was excited before the game and this is very good news for us."

Both goals were very much Ancelotti Milan school - some nice diagonal passing leading up to them.

the game. His lad showed off Drogba's signature, mate said Drogba apologised to the boy for his poor performance, "I have been quite sick, I will be better next week".
