The reserves continue their unbeaten start to the league campaign with an away trip to Wolves with the game being played at Telford Utd FC's New Bucks Head Stadium, kick-off at 7pm.
Since the opening day 1-1 draw against Everton at Stamford Bridge, the reserves have since beaten, Newcastle United (a) 3-2, Liverpool (h) 3-1 and incredibly WBA (a) 5-4, Fabio Borini scoring ALL five goals, after Chelsea found themselves 3-0 down inside the first twenty-five minutes.
Tonight, reserve coach Steve Holland has the luxury of being able to play Jeffrey Bruma, Patrick van Aanholt and Gael Kakuta.
Holland says, "It's always better to be winning than losing. So far so good, it's only three or four games in but we'll see how we go.
"We do have in our next couple of league games better positions following first team games so that the opportunity will be there if Carlo wants to use some players."
Speaking about the 5-4 victory at WBA, Holland said, "It was a game you can get with the reserves, where you're never quite sure of the make-up of the teams.
"Sometimes you can play against a club who have a clear week and are looking to give some senior players some match practice, as was the case with West Brom.
"That can be balanced with a week where our first team are playing in the Champions League, and had six teenagers on the bench in Moscow and we had to play the day after without them.
"That made it a very young back four, more than anything else, and hence the score perhaps not being a great surprise. We had problems dealing with their forwards, particularly Ishmael Miller, who used to be at Manchester City.
"But, at the other end we scored five goals, so we caused them many problems, and one player scoring five in a game is an outstanding acheivement, it's a great credit to Fabio Borini he managed that."
Fabio's reward - Well it doesn't look like he is starting tonight.

Considering we have Bruma, van Aanholt, Kakuta who have got 1st team experience.... they have just let Winnall run and run and run to score his 2nd of the night
