Arsenal Preview: JT to Start!!

Despite the absurd guilty verdict imposed on our Captain, Leader, Leader JT by the newly elected highest court in the land, Bobby Di believes JT’s mindset is 100% perfect and he is expected to lead out the League leaders at Corporate City at lunchtime.

Bobby Di said, “John is a professional player and he is a senior player. He has played many, many games and he has all the experience in the world to be able to deal with a big game. He has played difficult games under different circumstances and environments and if selected, I don’t think there will be a problem."

Despite moving into a bigger stadium, Arsenal took the library with them when they left Highbury!

More good news is that Super Frank has recovered from a slight ankle problem and is also available for selection.

Danny Sturridge however has still not recovered from a hamstring strain.

I expect Wenger to look as fresh as a daisy this afternoon after a good night’s sleep after admitting during the week that his team won’t miss playing against Didier Drogba.

Both teams scored six in midweek in their respective League Cup games (so 0-0 today eh?... ED) and after the Wednesday night games, Chelsea were drawn at home against Man Utd to play each other three days after the League meeting at The Bridge.

Last season’s game at the Corporate Library ended 0-0 and Chelsea’s last victory was in 2009 winning 3-0, following up the 4-1 victory the season before.
