Chelsea v West Ham (Stamford Bridge Reunion)

The Carling Cup doesn't normally generate that much interest until the later rounds and normally the 'bigger' Premiership clubs do not always field their strongest teams.

But I suspect in Chelsea's case they are exempt in the both cases on this occasion. To start with we have a 'cracking' London Derby. West Ham will have a point to prove especially to the old boys. Glenn Johnson (old) lol, Super Frank Lampard and Showboat King Joey Cole

Next with the depth in squad that Chelsea now have under the leadership of Mr Cool, Mr Confident and Mr Arrogant, who else but JM, every team that takes the field at least for the rest of this season will NOT be understrength.

The only major change that I can see JM making for tomorrow is bringing back King Carlo for a token appearance simply because Cech is looking unbeatable at the moment. I can see Robben starting from the beginning instead of Joey Cole and that is it. I can see JM starting with the rest of the players that started against Blackburn. And why not? They all played well and deserve another opportunity to impress. Parker, Johnson etc

Roll on Wednesday night
