'A Load of Premiership Trophies'

Birmingham and Liverpool played the first game of the weekend at St Andrews which ended in a 2-2 draw. All goals being scored in the second half. Liverpool equalising from a Cisse penalty five minutes from time. There went the first nil goals conceded record of the afternoon.

The second came at Stamford Bridge. In front of a crowd of 42,196 Chelsea conceded for the first time this Premiership season when stand-in striker Luke Moore won a National newspapers prize of £10,000 for being the first player to score against the Champions. So called boring for not conceding in their first sexi matches. As it turned out Chelsea went on to win 2-1 with a win double from Super Frank Lampard, 'the most out of form player' who has now scored Five goals this season already.

Over in East London - West Ham and Arsenal fought out an entertaining 0-0 derby with penalty claims in abundance being rejected, more for West Ham than Arsenal.

Meanwhile up North in the Theatre of Dreams, Morten Gamst Pedersen gave the performance of his life scoring two goals as Blackburn beat the once upon a time Champions Man Ure 2-1, causing the disgruntled 'Red Devil' fans to boo the team off the ptich at the end of the game. Perhaps they may defect to Fans FC who are getting in excess of 2,500 fans per home game. (Better hold up on that ground improvement, Double Glazer LOL).

Staying up North for the Bolton v Portsmouth match, Kevin Nolan's spectacular overhead kick gave Bolton the win in the 25th minute. Wigan continued to excel at Everton with ex-Norwich star Damien Francis scoring in Wigan's 1-0 win. After Sunderland's victory, Everton are now bottom - a long way since May when they reached the heady heights of qualifying for Champions League football and now have to try a overturn a 5-1 deficit in this week's UEFA Cup second leg.

Michael Owen grabbed his first home goal of the season for the 'Barcodes' in their win over Man City who have now lost three in a row. And finally a 'big' up to Charlton who continued their fine away (four from four) with a 2-1 win over West Brom. Charlton are only six points behind leaders Chelsea whilst Man Ure and Arsenal and ten and eleven points respectively.

And lastly, Monday night saw Tottenham beat Fulham 1-0 with an early Defoe strike.
