Whatever the result and the footballing outcome of today's London derby at The Bridge at lunchtime, today is all about celebrating the life of Chelsea legend, Peter Osgood. Ossie died last week at the age of 59.

Chelsea are holding a minute's appreciation prior to kick-off and have invited Ossie's ex-team mates to join in with the celebration within the centre-circle complete with a wreath 'Ossie, King of Stamford Bridge.' Also in attendance will be Ossie's widow Lynn, children - Anthony, Mark and Darren and Ossie's best mate. As Ossie and the late Ian Hutchinson were a formidable strike partnership when they played together, Chelsea have also invited Hutchy's widow Elaine to be present.

On the team news front, Jose announced after training on the NEW Stamford Bridge pitch that every-one is fit and available for selection, with the exception of Arjen Robben who starts his four match today. Michael Essien is expected to return to the starting line-up.

Two things I wish for today. That Tottenham fans will honour the King and Tottenham don't come to the Bridge and 'park that bloody bus.' Under Martin Jol I don't think that will happen.

Tottenham will be looking to end their wretched record against the Champions - 31 League games without a victory and the Champions will be looking for the win in the style and manner that befits Peter Osgood, KING OF STAMFORD BRIDGE!

There will be tears shed today.
