Chelsea Ladies to Fight for League Survival

Its Chelsea v Liverpool again as the Ladies battle it out to secure their position in the Nationwide Women's National League. After a miserable season in the top flight Chelsea have to play and beat Liverpool over two legs to remain in the Premier Division.

The first leg is away at Liverpool on Sunday May 14th with the return to be played at Cobham the following Sunday, 21st May.

Despite their poor form in the League, the Ladies did manage to secure some silverware from the season when they defeated Crystal Palace in the final of the Surrey Cup at Horley Town FC. The winning goal was scored by 15 year old Katie Owen four minutes from time.

The Ladies did also managed to get to the 6th round of the Women's FA Cup, when they were beaten 6-1 by the eventual winners, Arsenal Ladies.
