JT Becomes a Dad of Twins - A Boy and a Girl

Congratulations are in order for Chelsea's captain John Terry who became a father of a baby boy and baby girl this afternoon and of course we extend our best wishes to JT's partner and fiancee Toni who did all the hard work bringing the little ones into this world.

In a statement jointly prepared by the newly proud parents it read -'John and Toni are delighted to announce the birth of their twins, a boy and a girl. They have yet to decide on the names.

'The babies were born at the Portland Hospital in London on 18 May 2006. The baby boy was born at 12.37pm and weighed 5lbs 7oz, the baby girl at 12.29pm weighing 3lb 9oz.'

Proud father JT added before he went to join up with the England squad in Portugal "The babies are well. Toni is doing well and we are both absolutely delighted."
