Argentina beat Mexico 2-1 last night after trailing to an early Marquez goal, but 'The Tina's were only behind for six minutes before Mexico's Borgetti headed into his own net whilst being challenged by Crespo.

The game was enthralling, full of tension and we had to wait until extra-time for the winner which came in spectacular circumstances. Argentina may have already won the Goal of the Tournament with 'the 24 pass goal' against Serbia and Joe Cole's effort against Sweden may run it close, but Maxi Rodriquez's volley from the edge of the area must have sealed the award. The goal was simply stunning.

If rumours are true and Hargreaves is playing at right-back, with Carrick in the middle and Rooney as the lone striker, is this 'Gormless's' at the last chance saloon?

Bearing in mind that Rooney likes to pick the ball from deep and run with it, will England have to play from the centre-circle or will the tactics allow switches for both Joe Cole and Rooney to run at the Ecudorians. Rooney isn't the type of player to wait for the ball to come to him, he will want to go looking for it so therefore will his frustration get the better of him, or will his lack of match fitness be his undoing?
