So the self-proclaimed 'Glory Boys' and the host nation Germany, are out of the World Cup beaten in Dortmund for the first time and it is Italy who as a footballing country are shrouded in deep, deep mist as the majority of their top clubs are under investigation for match-fixing,

progress to the final of World Cup 2006.

I am sure a welcome relief to all the footballing public of Italy who are yet to discover if club football in Italy will be worth following anymore?? July 10th is the day the Italian public will dread, as its the day the damming verdict is delivered.

But before then, Italy have a World Cup Final to contest and tonight its going to be against the winners of France and Portugal and not being vindictive or nasty or anything, I sincerely hope it is France that prevails and they do so without the nastiness of a certain Ronaldo. No not the FAT one from Brazil, but the 'other,' the 'spats' wearing toe stepping winker from Portugal, who claims he didn't get the unfortunate Wayne Rooney sent off in England's Saturday clash.

For the record, two Italian goals in the last three minutes from Grosso and Del Piero, after a thoroughly compelling and entertaining game saw the Italians through and whatever happens this evening between France and Portugal, Chelsea Football Club are GUARANTEED two representitives in the final of World Cup 2006.
