All the News and Statistics ahead of the visit of Bradford City to Prenton Park on Friday night in Coca-Cola League One. Tranmere haven’t beaten Bradford in the last 6 attempts, and will be looking to overturn that statistic and build on the 1-0 home win over Crewe on Tuesday.

Its Bradford this week for Tranmere. Being something of a bogey team over the last few years Ronnie will be looking for another win to get back on track after a questionable run of form.
Bradford have managed just 6 points out of their last 15 compared to Tranmere’s 9.
Just this week Dean Windass left The Bantams in favour of Hull City leaving them with a notable void upfront with the highest scorer being Marc Bridge-Wilkinson with just 5 goals.
Bradford have notched up 32 goals this season while conceding 33. While not conceding too many they have not scored a lot leaving them in mid table. They sit 12th with 35 points, 10 behind Tranmere.
Earlier this season Bradford beat Rovers 2-0 at the Valley Parade courtesy of second half goals from Bower and Schumacher.
Other matches against Bradford have not gone well including the memorable 5-4 defeat and last season 2-2 draw. While always being quite exciting matches Tranmere are yet to beat Bradford in a while and Ronnie Moore knows that has to change if Tranmere are to stay in the top 6.
Bradford started the campaign with a defeat to Nottingham Forest, but 3 consecutive victories propelled them up the table and The Bantams looked like they may have what it takes to to get out of league 1. But this was quickly extinguished with 2 draws and 2 defeats. Even though they then won 3 of their next 4 games including the home game against Tranmere, Bradford have not been able to get into any real consistency since then leaving them in mid table.
It’s an important Friday night game for Tranmere so get behind the lads (with a drum or not!) and enjoy the game!
