"My first season here I was happy to get somewhere near the number Humey got the season before so it didn't look like the Club had brought in a striker who couldn't score goals."
"We nearly shot ourselves in the foot but there was a positive response from them. We've put ourselves in with a fighting chance and I've got nothing but praise for them."
"One or two people might have been surprised I stuck with the same eleven but I knew they couldn't be as bad as they were against Swansea. I showed a bit of faith in them and they gave me everything I asked of them. I just wish they could have made it a bit easier as it's not healthy for me at the moment!"
"Gavin made a wonderful save from Sonner. It was tremendous. One or two people might have a pop at him for the goal, but I won't. It held up in the wind. He had no chance with the first goal, it took a wicked deflection."
"It's a big win. It kills them off a little bit. Millwall lost, Doncaster lost, but Blackpool keep hanging in there. But it's what we do that matters. I'm pleased for everybody that we've won but we've done nothing. We've got three points and we're in with a chance."
"We had a good following again. They got behind us and were so vocal. It's nice to get an away win for them. The fans were brilliant. The noise they made in the first half kept us going. It was nice the lads responded the way they did and gave them something to sing about."
"It was a good team performance. It was always going to be a big game, following our bad show against Swansea. From front to back the lads have worked hard. Shukes and Kev were fantastic for us, they took a lot of pressure off us."
"What a header from Kev. I'm really pleased for him. The keeper didn't have a prayer. It was a great header but a terrible celebration!"
"This season I wanted to get around 18 and I've done that. If anymore come, so be it. If they don't and other people are scoring goals and we get in the Play Offs then I don't care."
