Player Profile - Ben Chorley

Central defender Chorley is 25 years-old and joined Rovers in early July 2007 on a two-year contract after previously playing at Milton Keynes Dons.

Ben began his career at Arsenal where he won the F.A Youth Cup in 2001 before moving on to Wimbledon in 2003 via a loan spell with Brentford.

Ben stayed at Wimbledon during their controversial transition to Milton Keynes Dons and spent a large part of the 2006-07 season on loan at Gillingham, making 24 appearances and scoring three goals including the winner against Tranmere at Prenton Park in December 2006.

In May, Chorley had his contract at the Dons terminated by mutual consent and two months later after speculation about a move to Millwall as well as Tranmere he was eventually signed by Ronnie Moore where he spent last season vying for a place in the back four with Ian Goodison and Antony Kay.
