Ronnie Moore insists that Tranmere's late winner was fully deserved against Walsall on Sunday afternoon.

Moore told Tranmere World......

"I don't think there was any doubt we deserved to win the game.  We were the side trying to win."

"It was a very foolish penalty to give away.  We've pressed and pressed and the final ball in hasn't been good.  We've not asked the keeper to make too many saves, but we kept going and I thought we were going to get a chance, it was just whether or not we'd take it."

"Luckily for us it was a good ball in and Kaysy finished it off.  He's a good player and there's no reason why he can't get into double figures."

"Some of the decision making you pull your hair out with.  There were shots from 40 yards and 35 yards when you've got to be sensible and keep trying to play around the area.  The final ball has got to be better."

"I said I wanted seven points from Christmas, but I wanted nine.  We threw a good opportunity away for nine at Hereford."

Moore also revealed that he expects to have Ryan Shotton back on loan in January, while Godwin Antwi and John Johnson return to Liverpool and Middlesbrough respectively.
