After a pretty dire Tranmere were defeated 1-0 away at Oldham thanks to a dodgy penalty decision on Saturday afternoon, we are asking you to vote for your Man of the Match from the game.
Rovers never really got going in the game and were dominated by the home side in the opening fifteen minutes with numerous chances falling Oldham's way. Rovers rallied in the run up to half-time and performed much better despite the clear Oldham tactics of spending the whole game throwing players to the floor in a similar vein to Notts County earlier in the season.
At the start of the second half, Oldham were awarded a debatable penalty after first an Oldham player clearly handled the ball and was then fouled seemingly outside the penalty area to hand the home side a 1-0 win as Rovers couldn't grab a late equaliser.

thats your opinion and you are and have every right to say so ,but it seems les parry can do no wrong in your eyes your loyle to him and you must be commended for that ,i just hope that he relises your standing up for him as he does not deserve it ,have a great afternoon mate and lets hope he dont keep letting you down
The fans can do no wrong in many people's eyes and the players in my opinion are getting away with absolute murder at the moment without criticism but to say I think Les can do no wrong is miles from the case!
Simple fact is the book stops with the manager, he picks the team decides the formation and tactics and how the team play.
We have some good players at the club les isnt get the best out of them and should pay the price but for some reason some people still think he should continue as manager.
Deadly Submarine If Les gets the sack we should hope that every single out of contract player also leaves in the summer as well.
They clearly don't seem to care and that starts with our appaling team captain.
The manager is far more appalling at his job than is the team captain.
Kingsholm (Cherry and ) White Just going off topic (sorry) but on subject of Goody, is he doing any coaching badges does anyone know? I'd love to see him as the gaffer.
I'm not sure mate is the honest answer! I'm not convinced he is like.
was pleased yesterday b4 the game all the comments from supporters going the game "let's get behiond the lads" etc ! sad it was conditional ! funny how times change 1 many moons ago leather caseys and jumpers for Goal post ! the poorer Tranmere Rovers were the more we stuck up for them at games and on the Wirral against the supporters of the blue and red across the river, the more stick we got the more we defended our club, often fights between Rovers supporters ! usually involving the Woody and Domville lads ! but never falling out over the Rovers we all loved and supported

Deadly Submarine that starts with our appaling team captain
I don't agree with that, unless you're referring purely to his captaincy roll, of which there are no visible signs whatsoever other than wearing the armband. Playing-wise he could be doing a lot better but to describe him as "appalling" would be well over the top.
In any case, we do have other options that aren't appalling so you'd have to blame the manager for selecting him.
On the subject of Goody, my mate lives next door to a couple of the players. As true professionals they don't reveal much about what goes on behind the scenes but among the things that they have given away is that Goody hardly ever speaks, which is a poor characteristic in a potential captain.
The defensive midfielder has often been the position in the Tranmere team that attracts most criticism because much of the good work done is of a destructive nature which goes unseen by many.I disagree with you about Welsh
Yes he's very destructive.. at killing off all forward heading moves.. and fouling Oldham players in the box
It's not 'cause of where he plays, in August/September he was playing brilliantly, but last 3 months he's been absolutely abysmal - probably because he knows he won't ever, ever get dropped.

Welsh had a great day on Sunday though, Liverpool won the carling cup. It seems Tranmere players are only interested in Liverpool if twitter is anything to go by.
