After Rovers earned a superb 4-0 home win over Colchester United at Prenton Park this afternoon thanks to a Jake Cassidy hat-trick and another Bakayogo goal, we are asking you to vote for your TRFC Man of the Match for the game........
After Rovers earned a delightful 4-0 home win over Colchester United at Prenton Park on Saturday afternoon thanks to a hat-trick from Jake Cassidy and a second successive home goal for Zoumana Bakayogo, we are asking you to once again vote for your Rovers Man of the Match for the game.
Rovers played relatively poorly in the first half but grabbed a goal they just about deserved just five minutes from the break from Jake Cassidy to set themselves on the way. Cassidy added a second shortly after half-time as Rovers began the second half brilliantly and by the time Zoumana Bakayogo added a third it appeared to be game over before Cassidy grabbed his hat-trick.
The three points earned the and four goal margin of victory moved Rovers back to the top of League One at this early stage of the season, ahead of Yeovil on goal difference by two goals.
