Ronnie Moore admitted that his side started poorly against Colchester United on Saturday afternoon but admitted that in the end they were worthy winners thanks to Jake Cassidy's hat-trick and Bakayogo's second goal of the season.....
After Tranmere's second half rout of Colchester United that resulted in a 4-0 home win on Saturday in NPower League One, Rovers Manager Ronnie Moore admitted his side didn't start well but in the end were the deserved winners of the game as they once again moved top of League One at this early stage of the season.
Speaking to Tranmere Player, Ronnie Moore said......
"I was concerned about the way we started but once we got the goal it settled us down. After that there was no disputing we were the better side and some of the football at times was brilliant."
"Cass has just been off it and not got across that near post. We've spoken about it and he has done it today. There were some quality balls into the box and great finishing by the young lad."

"It's great to get another hat-trick. Robbo got one, Cassidy got one and now we're just waiting for Akpa Akpro to get one. I thought his work rate was great today and he was unlucky when he cut inside and hit the post."
"We weren't good early on, the game was a bit dead. But there was only one result in the second half, we were constantly at them and on another day might have got more goals."
"You've got to be happy with the position but we're not getting carried away. It's four games in, that's all. We've got a tough game on Tuesday where five will get a break then it's a massive game at Crewe."
"Roman came in and looked really rusty early on. But the cobwebs came off as the game went on and he handled their two well. He looks like he needs games and he's going to get them."
"When Ash is fit we've got a problem whether Roman plays or Ash plays but it's a nice problem to have."
