It’s coming up to Christmas, so before the Boxing Day game it’s time to look back over the past 12 months for you to nominate your highs and lows.
Should be quite easy, but try and answer the following questions.
- What was our best performance over the past 12 months?
- And what was our worst?
- Who has been our best player over the past 12 months?
- Who has been the most disappointing?
- What was your favourite away game over the last 12 months?
- Who and when was our best goal scored over the last 12 months?
- Which visiting fans most impressed you?
- How much do you reckon you’ve spent on Tranmere over the last 12 months?
- Is there a particular position or particular player you would aim to sign?
- Do you think the takeover will be complete by next Christmas?

1. The 4-0 win at home to Chesterfield back in April....On one of the rare occasions that we played well with Adkins was back in February away at Notts, we should have been outta sight at half time, we played really well, still lost though..The recent away win at Bristol Rovers was decent, but mainly helped by the Gas being DREADFUL.
2. Adkins very last game when we lost 0-1 at home to Accy.
3. Over the 12 months i'd say Omari.
4. Josh Davison just doesn't cut it for me.
5. i have only been to one away game, back in January when we lost 2-0 at Wimbledon.
6. Those 3 goals we scored away at Accy in April were all special, Omari's goal away at Crawley at the start of this season was sweet, but for me the best goal was Josh Davisons goal away at Swindon back in January when we spectaculaly collapsed in the last 10 mins..some say it was a fluke goal, but not me, a brilliant goal.
7. i haven't been to Prenton this year,
8. Not very much at all.
9. Michael Mellon, he is agile and although not a prolific scorer he still scores goals... And another Nathan Smith type central defender.
10. Who the hell knows. ???

Hands up time, my new years resolution for 2025 was to be debt free apart from my mortgage by the end of the year, I've seen hardly any live sport of any kind this year, gonna make that up in 2026 believe me. I will do my best to answer:
I Newport away, we looked really decent
Ii Wimbledon away, they were an absolute cut above us
Iii hendry, his return kept us up last season, Crosby got the plaudits but hendry made the difference, as Nigel Clough picked up on.
Iv the man with the world's most disappointed wife Mr Smallwood
V Newport
6-8 not seen enough footy to comment
Ix Hendry type player that looks like he does very little, but sis short passing game knits the team together
X I believe that we are being taken over by a South Korean consortium, our chairman throughout 2026 will be a park malios
