Tranmere v MK Dons Preview

Both teams would love the points. Mk Dons desperately need the points in hope of not getting two relegations on the bounce. Tranmere on the other hand want to catch up with Luton who are currently six points ahead. Simon Haworth looks set to continue up front after a fine display against Blackpool.

Today two teams at both ends of the table play each other tomorrow. Struggling MK Dons are in desperate need for any kind of points, to get out of the relegation. Whereas Tranmere want the points to catch up with league leaders, Luton.

If Mk Dons fail to achieve their, to say clear of relegation, they will have been relegated twice on the bounce.

Managerless Mk Dons have some injury problems of their own, Mark Williams, Richard Johnson and Nicky Rizzo are all doubts for the game.

Tranmere still have their two promising youngsters out, Calvin Zola still got 2 matches left on his suspension and Chris Dagnall is out with his fractured cheekbone. But, on the positive side, Rovers have there two main midfielders back in, Jason McAteer and Mark Rankine. Along with Danny Harrison they will fight for their central midfield roles.

Hopefully, Tranmere can keep going and play as they did against Blackpool. Brian Little is certain to keep the same defence as he started, althought Jackson came of at half time because he felt dizzy. But he will now have to decide who to play in midfield. On Saturday he chose Danny Harrison and Mark Rankine, who both played well. But now the captain, Jason McAteer, is back will b defintely fighting for his place.
