Rovers regulars, centre midfield, Mark Rankine and left back, Gareth Roberts are both struggling with hamstring injuries. This comes ahead of the LDV Vans Trophy game against rivals Oldham.

Ahead of Tuesdays game against rivals, Oldham, Rovers go into the game carrying two injuries on their minds.

Both Mark Rankine and Gareth Roberts are struggling to shake off hamstring injuries. However captain Jason McAteer and Ian Sharps are both set to return which could ease the injury problem.

Rovers are set to go down to Boundary Park for the Northern Section Semi-Final of the LDV Vans Trophy.

If Rovers get pass Oldham they win a place against Wrexham or Hereford. Win against one of these and its a wanted trip to the amazing stadium of Cardiff, Millenium Stadium.
