Roberts Suspension Overturned but Taylor Suspended

It was announced today that Rovers have been successful in their appeal against the sending off of Gareth Roberts at Bradford last week meaning he will now be available for selection this Saturday. This however means Ryan Taylor will now be suspended instead.
Roberts was sent off during the 1-1 draw at Valley Parade after recieving a second yellow card for a foul that appeared to be committed by someone else. After being shown the red card, Roberts remained on the field amid the confusion but was eventually ordered to leave the field by the referee Paul Danson.
The FA have today upheld Tranmere's appeal and the Yellow card Roberts recieved has been transferred to the culprit of the foul, Ryan Taylor. This means Roberts is now available for selection for Saturday's home game against Colchester but the bad news for Rovers is that the transfer of the yellow card to Taylor means he is also now suspended on Saturday along with Mark Rankine and Iain Hume . This a major blow for Brian Little before an important home game as the top two in League One face each other and Rovers look to gain some ground.
