Away Fans:  Up to 4,000 in the Travelworld Stand (South Stand) – All Seated and Covered

At the Ground

 

 

Where to Eat and Drink:  The Away Stand contains a Bar as well as a Ladrokes Betting Office inside the ground.

 

Away from the Stadium itself, there are a number of places to eat and drink but the Stadium is around a twenty minute walk from the Town Centre facilities.  There are a number of Bars on Leeds Road itself near the Stadium and there is a retail park behind the North Stand.

  

 

Getting To the Stadium

 

 

Car Parking:  There is Car Park of a reasonable size at the Stadium which will cost £4.00 and there are other Car Parks in the vicinity of the Stadium which will cost around £3.00.

 

By Road:

 

The Stadium is relatively easy to find as it situated alongside the main A62 road into the town.

 

From the West (M62):

Exit the M62 at Junction 25 and simply follow the A62 in the direction of Huddersfield.  The Stadium will be on the left hand side of the road.

 

From the South (M1):

Exit the M1 at Junction 38 and then take the A637 and then the A642 towards Huddersfield.  In the centre of town, take the right hand line and turn onto the A62 where you will shortly find the Stadium on the right hand side of the road.

 

By Official Club Coach:

 

Executive Coaches:  Members = £9.50 (All Seats)

                                Non-Members  = £10.50 (All Seats)

 

Standard Coaches:   Members = Adults £8.50 Concessions £7.50

                                Non Members = Adults £9.50 Concessions £10.50

 

Coaches Depart Prenton Park at 4.30pm

 

By Rail:

 

For those travelling by train, a lengthy walk is to be expected from the Station to the Stadium (about 15-20 mins). 

 

After leaving the station, turn down past The George Hotel, proceed over the Crossroads into Northumberland Street.  Cross the Ring Road and go straight on to Leeds Road.  Turn right down Gasworks Street, and then go straight over at the crossroads to the Ground.

 

Huddersfield is served by trains from Manchester Piccadilly to Leeds.

 

SUPPORTERS SHOULD NOTE THAT THE LAST TRAIN ON TUESDAY NIGHT IN THE DIRECTION OF LIVERPOOL AND CHESTER DEPARTS FROM HUDDERSFIELD AT 21.59 AND GIVES AN ARRIVAL TIME IN CHESTER OR LIVERPOOL AFTER MIDNIGHT.
