Ferguson Speak

As the season appears into view Ferguson has spoken. He does so about the same time every year. Floral bouquets for those under his foot, bouquets of barbwire for those he considers a threat. Ferguson’s mind games are now part and parcel of our game. A wonderment to all the media, he be the master of them.

Twenty odd years ago LFC were the continual recipient of his barbed bitter critique. As our star fell Arsenals manager Wenger got the Ferguson's treatment. No respect for the professor's total football. Whoever threatens Ferguson is shown utter contempt; this is the cornerstone of his mind games.

Its been a long time for us to wait, but there be no greater sign that we are on the right track than to receive bouquets of barbwire off Ferguson now. Owens neglect and abusive treatment as a boy in our custody, followed by our dismissal of any chance of winning the league.

This is not a rant of course, this be mind games, this be

Ferguson Speak.

He's an old codger now and will soon be gone. The old scroat has become a parody of himself.

His words now are good for a laugh only. Carry on Dementia I say.

unfortunatly it seems there are still those scousers on this board that will bite at SAF's words

Can I ask if Rafa has responded (if these brackets are needed...YET?)

You judge his words as "DEMENTIA" and "GOOD FOR A LAUGH" oh and lets not forget "BARBED BITTER CRITIQUE" but yet yu buying into them

What has long never been understood is that SAF is known for his mind games. In your eyes it seems like dis-respect, but it isnt, SAF is simply challenging his opponents to step up to the plate, prove you have what it takes to give the banter, and then let your team do the rest of the talking for you.

Keegan tried it...what happened? "I would love it if we beat them, love it" haha the best quote of all time, unfortunately he failed

Wenger tried it, and although he won titles, he never really dethroned SAF in the verbal department

Benitez tried it....I dont really needto go there do I?

the only man that has ever significantly challenged SAF both on and off the pitch was Jose Mourinho, and even he gave into the pressure

Your "rank" in this topic is significantly miss-placed, Once again SAF has reigned supreme in his every intention to simply get the hair on your backs up

...so I am to pressume you agree with me?

If you are going to start a topic with which you pressume you are right, at least have the decency to achknowledge it than simply abandon it

Alright der Ram ,id never abandon you thinking you are right(Sm14).Ive been away in the sun for the past few weeks . As for Fergie you miss the point. The fact that he has turned his verbal guns in our direction we regard as a great compliment . We are obviously now the threat . Tis a great boost ,Rafa must be doing something right to gain so much of the good knights attention.

and you are correct for thinking so

Fergie did it for years with Wenger because back then Wenger had a top 2 challenging team, he did it with Mourinho and though it failed on 2 occassions, the special one finally cracked

Thats what SAF does, your comments on his comments will probably encure the same kind of reaction on his part

he wanted to either get the hair on your backs up, or at least make you take note of what you can expect...
