Money Merry-go-round

When the two American capitalist parasites gained control of our club we were thrown on the world’s money merry-go-round. The destiny of our club is not in our hands but at the mercy of the business world, purchased with massive loans, granted by the banks, to people who could not, or will not, pay them from their own resources.
It’s what’s been happening for years, and its pure unadulterated greed.
Why care of the consequences as long as a quick buck is made today?
So, along comes the "credit crunch" and the whole rotten pack of cards falls down. The banks have driven us through a brick wall and over a cliff. The best of it is, our governments have actually ploughed billions into the banking world to save its neck, while the banks themselves have greedily sent business after business to the wall in their endeavor to make yet more money.
Remember Thatcher's philosophy of free market forces, survival of the fittest? She hammered this to the shipyards, coalmines, car plants. No government interventions there as millions of people were thrown on the scrap heap. Not soft these financiers are they? Safety nets galore for them after they have squandered billions.
So need we be surprised in the gloom of our none existent stadium, that along comes the Standard Chartered Bank of the city of London, giving us £80 grand a season just to have their name on our shirt? So much for the bankrupt banks.
Liverpool Football Club are is on that Money Merry-go-round. Don't think for one minute there will be a safety net if we should fall off.
