Liverpool FC and Manchester United stand alone as the two most decorated and famous of England’s Football clubs. Unfortunately they also have a hatred for each other in common also. The acidic bilious atmosphere reflects the hatred shared by the fans as they disrespect each others club tragedies at every match played between them.

Not in a million years would you expect any sort of collaboration between them.

Until maybe now of course, when they share something else in common, and far more frightening, American owners. People who have bought both clubs on leveraged buyouts, thereby putting the two giants in to enormous debt. Both clubs now face uncertain futures, crippled with massive debts. Fans groups protest, groups have emerged, SOS from LFC and IMUSA/MUST for UNITED. Would it be out of the question for fans of both clubs to unite and fight as one?
Such a move would gain huge publicity and so pressurize their owners to sell.

Yes we have got our share of dumbheads who can't see beyond the end of their nose, but in general the Liverpool crowd appreciates good football, even begrudgingly when it is played by man ure.
That lot do not.
When did you ever see an opposition team applauded by the home crowd at castle greyskull.

Whilst I have nothing but dislike for LFC it is a thought worthy of more than bile.
You once again prove that some Liverpool fans genuinely believe that they understand football more than most and probably think Jimmy Tarbuck is still funny.
The question was joining forces for the sake of both clubs, not if you like or dislike the opposition you i d i o t.
Oh, i personally don't want to see Liverpool going bust and out of business, it would be bad for EPL football. Working together however would be a bridge too far methinks.
And vice versa with the Glaziers.
Just because both owner are Yanks doesn't mean they hang out together, and even if they do would they really feel under more pressure to sell?
If/when they wanna sell, they will. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like they want to at the moment.
If anything the league or FA should step in and create some law that says clubs should be sold if the owners have leveraged too much debt on them, and another law preventing it from happening again in the future.
I'm also one of those strange LFC fans who does not hate Man U. They have played some awesome football over the last 20 years. I still want Man U to lose every game, of course. But to be honest, if it was Man u or Cheslea to win the Championship this year, I'd want Man U any day.
Both clubs face the same problem. The Premiership would be poorer for the loss of either. Of course the fans of both should sing from the same hymn sheet on this one
