Daily Mail Fails Us All

Our football is handicapped by two things, the FA and the gutter press. We all know how totally incompetent the FA is at most things, if anything can be done wrong they will find a way. It’s an organisation run by amateur farts in blazers with no grasp of the modern world.

Then there's our gutter press who live by the code of sewer rats. If a good headline can be made why let the truth get in the way, to hell with peoples lives and reputations.

England's world cup bid, worth £3 billion to the nation, is now in the balance. We know that to Fleet Street half the old fools in the FA must be as attractive as an obese three legged wilder beast is to a pack of hyenas, but there can be no excuse for the Daily Mails actions in using a private conversation to jeapordise England's world cup bid, for a cheap and nasty sordid headline.

By the time the WC is next played in Europe, 2018, I will be not far off 60. The next chance after that of seeing the WC in Europe, I will be near 70. Think about it all you 50 something's, you might never see a world cup in your life time in your own backyard!

Thanks a lot Daily Mail I will never buy that rag again. If enough of us do the same maybe, just maybe, they will think twice next time.

I was on to that rag some time ago now.
As a Liverpool fan, I think we get it in the neck more from them than any other rag.
They seem to have an obsession with sensationalising headlines the vast majority of which are very very negative.
I will never ever pick up a daily mail ever. If they make their bed, they will have to sleep in it.

i have been a reader of the mail for over twenty years , i have recently stopped buying it because of what i see as an anti liverpool agenda i may be paranoid but has this all come about since martin samuel joined the rag

KOPCAT. You are spot on fella, there is an anti LFC agenda with the Mail, from Rafa to Gerrard etc they seem to be the only paper with a so called exclusive...which turns out to be rubbish. Rafa was off to Juventus, when that didn't happen it was Inter. Now its the Gerrard silly season. You made a good call in stopping buying it, that's all we can do. Remember The @#$%&, that rag has never recovered. YNWA.

ps What they have done with the world cup bid on the day we handed our bid to FIFA is shameless...

Unless I'm mistaken the editor of the Daily Mail is a huge season ticket holding Chelsea fan.

Checkout the past backpage headlines (especially during Mourinho's stint at Chelsea). I think you'll find they were instrumental in carrying the major negative headlines about us (Gerrard to Chelsea constantly, was one amoung 100). All designed to upset the camp. And all in & around when we were due to play them in a league or champions league fixture.

Look it up! It's quite impressive how often they did it & got away with it (ie. no one picked up on it).

Without doubt the Manc and London loving gutter press have got it in for us with the Mail being one of the worst. Our fans should hit them where it hurts and boycott it.

It's amazing what they're doing to Liverpool. What they were saying about Torres leaving was atrocious. There were like 3 or four different guys saying the same bulls**t of "when he leaves", not even "if". If we're not very, very careful all these lies start to be discussed and suddenly they become facts, until, of course, they turn out to be lies at the end.
