Kenny will swing axe, but where will it fall?

NESVs managerial and business expertise has been tested to the full since their takeover of one of the world’s most famous football clubs. Up till now their ability to stand back, unflustered, and apply sensible decisions in their own good time have bore fruit.

Whilst Kenny Dalglish might not have fitted their profile, age wise, and despite being warned off him for internal political reasons, his “temporary" appointment has been a positive.  With their reorganization of the boardroom, the club feels at ease with itself on and off the pitch for the first time in years.  

Kenny will be given a permanent contract, but, for the beatings of Manu and Chelsea there have also been the abysmal defeats to West Ham and Braga. The squad has too many inconsistent, average, lame ducks and freeloading players. Kenny is a King, not a magician. LFC have gone backwards for three years, now it must stop.  

NSEV will back Kenny financially this summer and, not being of the "championship manager" generation, will leave that to Comolli and Kenny to sort.  NSEV will insist Kenny’s axe will have to fall on many of this squad to balance their investment in new blood.
