Chelsea Fans, A Question?

Given the choice for your new manager, would you prefer Rafa, a man with proven European pedigree? Or Harry Redknapp, a man with no European pedigree, and has never come near winning a title of any kind as he nears his retirement? I do believe I know the answer after the songs and banners against Rafa that were displayed this week.

Think on this though, our media creates heroes and villains, people are put into a box by the media, and that’s where they stay. It’s a pantomime we are served up "good old arry " and "fat Spanish waiter".  It’s about time football fans started to look past the headlines and instead look at facts.

I don’t believe for one minute Abromavich will look at Redknapp, but has considered Rafa. Hence the negative vibes from your fans, but everything is not as black and white as the media portray. You may have the intelligence to think for yourself, alas it seems most fans dont; so, as the saying goes, we get the media we deserve.

I wouldn't be surprised that Benitez will be offered a job in the summer as:

- Guardiola and Capello will turn down this poisoned chalice.

- If Abu Dhabi City fails to win the title and goes trophyless (my dearest wish), then Mancini will be sacked and Mourinho appointed.

Advantages of Benitez:
- He will bring the best out of Torres, Juan Mata and Meirless.
- Plus he can bring in SPanish palyers to build the team he wanted;

- He got the rub of the green and may get lucky again and deliver the CL CUp that Abramovich craved.

You think a proud RUsski like ABrmaovich will ever admit he made a mistake by sacking Mourinho and now....BEG Mourinho to return????

Chelski is an ageing team and need drastic surgery to rebuild...menaing a new manager to dismantle Mourinho's CHelski and rebuild teh team in his image with Torres, Juan Mata plus 4 or 5 ne players as the "new spine".

I see it as between Mourinho and Benitez as Guardiola will be crazy to even consider this job.

Sven Ericksson anyone? grinning smiley

Your dead right merlion ,someones got to do the dirty work and rid them of their old guard .There again Rafa might like kicking the Terrys of this world into touch(Sm71)
