“I don't think anybody saw it coming” - Kenny

Kenny Dalglish said he will spend the next couple of days trying to find answers to why his Liverpool side let a two goal lead slip, and to be beaten 3-2 by a poor QPR side.

"I don't think anybody saw it coming, I'm sure there was a fair bit of feeling before the game about how we'd approach it and how the players would react to qualifying for a semi-final.

"But I think the way they started the game was fantastic with the passing and the movement. The only thing that was missing was a bit of luck in front of goal.  We came in (at half-time) at 0-0, but it could have been three or four easily.

"We started the second half and got the goal - a great goal for Seb. Then Dirk touched one in and to be fair you couldn't even see them (QPR) getting a goal.

"But maybe the luck they never got atBolton10 days ago, they got tonight in the last 20 minutes.

"There is not much more we can say. We need to find answers and make sure we're going to learn from it.

"For most of the game we were dominant. We were really creative, thoughtful and professional, but they've walked away with three points."

Welcome to teh club.
Now you lot knew how we felt when 0-4 up at St James Park..only to end up 4-4.

I believe COMPLACENCY is the reason when Liverpool "toyed" with QPR and lost that killer instinct to slaughter opponents with 3-0 or 4-0 or 5-0 score-line when they were vulnerable.

AT 2-0, we were show-boaitng against VIlla and I felt disgusted these bunch of 'locers' had not learned from their past show-boating when 2-0 cna eaisly be 2-1, 2-2 and then 2-3 like in 2011 we lost matches due to late goals..(that 1-2 against FUlham still hurt).

You want ot be title contender??
Then FFS re-discover that killer's instinct of Liverpool 1980s.
