LFC -- SNATCHING DEFEAT FROM THE JAWS OF VICTORY .

Liverpool's season has turned into an enigma of epic proportions.  They have developed an ability of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory into an art form.  

Just how far can you dominate an opponent without actually winning the game?  Granted there's been a handful of games were they have been beaten by a better team on the day, but those you could count on one hand.

 

Despite the considerable investment, improving the squad, they lag nearly forty points behind the leaders.  Yet the same players in cup competitions have swept all before them to two finals.  We could well have two pots in the cabinet this summer which is successful by anyone's reckoning. 

 

If we are to progress next season in the league we must learn to hit the net and not the post.  We must learn how to win.  If that means more investment so be it. 

 

One things for sure,  the class of 11/12 is not good enough.
