You have to hand it to him good player yes but a dirty cheat.

Comon carefree give the lad a break,hes not throwing himself to the floor anymore. Hes having a fantastic season in a very average side. It was a handball ,he got a lucky break. Next time his shirts pulled off his back by the center half will the defender say "excuse me ref you missed that give him a pen". Hes a panto villan for the press ,they will find another one soon no doubt forign of course.

Purple nose had a go at him in the media prior to the Evra catastrophe, and as TOKS pointed out his word became gospel.

He did the same when we had Torres. You'd think after all the success he's attained he wouldn't still be jealous of Liverpool, but he is.

He's hanging on until the time he equals Paisleys record of European Cup wins. Hopefully Jose will be the first manager to equal it.

None of the "best players in the WORLD" that im aware of had to stoop to biting another player.

Liverpool knew he had history on this, choose to sign him and thats fine, but now LS has blackened the famous liverpool jersey and surely he has to be shown the door, otherwise the "Club" are defending the in-defensible.

Clubs always have, and always will defend the indefensible by keeping good players who have let the side down. What's new? I think this instance is far from making the jersey look dirty. Now if he purposely ended another players career, avoided a drug test or attacked a fan, I'd maybe see it differently, but....

Personally I thought he was hilarious and there's been much ado about nothing ever since. I don't condone biting by any stretch but c'mon, he took a nibble, left no mark and the player carried on.

Luis is a hate figure in this country and all kinds of sanctimonious people feel they've needed to comment, no matter that they themselves are guilty of doing far worse things than this. The alleged wife beaters, alkys, gamblers and druggies have all crawled out of the woodwork this week to say how outraged they are. What a load of self righteous twaddle.

I love Luis Suarez, not only because he's a fantastic footballer, but his enthusiasm, passion and will to win always makes me smile. Long may he continue in a Reds shirt.

He is the dirtiest and snidest player in the league, if not Europe. Hard to think of anyone who comes close to him for two footed fouls, feigning injury, purposefully leaving his foot in when the ball is nowhere to be seen, eye-gouging, hair pulling, racism and now biting.

Lots of players have been guilty of one or two of these offences but this guy has done the lot

Without doubt one of the biggest cheats in the Premier if not European and world football. There can be no excuse for repeatedly cheating ,amassing 10 yellow cards this season alone. When will he ever learn ,or maybe he never will once a dirty cheat always a dirty diving cheat. I give you Garth Bale ,Players player of the year Young Player of the year.Football Journalists player of the year.

Some fair points in this thread.

I'm not a 'Pool fan by any means but even I thought the hooha was ridiculous and the FA's punishment was disgusting considering what some players have got away with.
