Penney: ‘I am NOT Disappointed'

Doncaster Manager Dave Penney revealed BEFORE the Stockport match that a mid-table finish for Rovers is not a let-down.

Many Rovers fans were hoping for the play-offs and maybe a third successive promotion, but now Doncaster cannot make the play-offs; Penney is convinced it is still a good season

 

Penney said:

 

"I am not disappointed to be where we are. If you look at where we have come from, we have done very well.

"Next season, I want to push on from here and look to challenge further up the table."
