Mcfconline is pleased to bring you a World Cup Predictions competition. Display your skill by predicting every World Cup game over the coming month.

World Cup Predictions

Mcfconline is today launching its World Cup Prediction competition. To enter simply download the zipped excel file below, open the spreadsheet, insert your scores and group placing and return them as an attachment to andy@mcfconline.co.uk

The scoring system is as follows

Group Phase

Correct Result = 3 points
Correct Score = 5 points
Correct final position = 5 points
Correct points total = 10 points
Correct points and position = 15 points

Any teams you have in the right position will then count in the knockout stages (i.e. If England finish second and you have predicted them second they should already be in the correct game on your predictions list and will score points for you in that game regardless of the opposition.) Any sides you still have in the knockout stages will continue to score points for you until they are knocked out of the competition

2nd Round

Correct Result = 5 points
Correct Score = 10 points

Quarter Finals

Correct Result = 10 points
Correct Score = 20 points

Semi Finals

Correct Result = 20 points
Correct Score = 30 points

Final

Correct Result = 30 points
Correct Score = 50 points
